Arrowrock Hostel Is an Ideal base for your angling Holiday. Lough Arrow is reputed to be one of the best wild brown trout lakes in Europe with over 3,000 acres of spring fed unpolluted waters. Noted salmon rivers are just a few miles north and some of the best coarse fishing waters in Ireland are within a few minutes drive. No license is required for Lough Arrow Lough Arrow trout fishing season extends from 1st April to 30th September. Coarse fishing can be enjoyed all year round with reputable waters nearby. These include the rivers Shannon, Boyle and Moy and lakes such as Lough Key, Lough Allen, Lough Conn, Lough Mask and Lough Corrib to name just a few.		Arrowrock Guests Guests have had some success on Lough Arrow in recent times. The picture above is a visitor from Switzerland. His main interest was Pike but an afternoon on Lough Arrow netted 6 trout from 2 to 5lbs (4 were released back to the lake). The lake is fishing well - don’t miss out!
